A New Twist On Daily Affirmations
Eat Diamonds For Breakfast & Shine All Day
So, I don’t exactly have diamonds to fry up with eggs and bacon in the morning. However, what I do have is a mindset worth more than diamonds and rubies. It isn’t something that I received overnight either. This mindset is a product of failure and disappointment. I had to get to a point where I was tired of feeling sorry myself. I had to get hungry for something more than even I initially understood. I had to wake up and decide to get it, it being something and anything more than I had before.
For me life is about progress. Sometimes progress is quick and life can change in the blink of an eye. But, usually progress is slow and I’m a little impatient. I want to win yesterday.
I blog, wrote a couple eBooks, trying my hand in the vlogging world and designed some dope tees and mugs. I’m always looking for a way to step it up because; goals and no work really don’t make sense. At times I think, what else do I need to do? But, I’m learning it’s not about doing a lot of things kind of good but, perfecting a few things and killing it.
So while I work on perfecting my craft I ensure that I set myself up daily to be in the best space possible. Basically, I remind myself who the hell I am every day. Not to sound cocky but, I deserve to be happy.
You realize that you’re blessed to wake up every morning, so you keep going anyway. Sometimes you need a little encouragement (diamonds). These diamonds shape your mindset. Diamonds are the things you use to remind yourself that you are unapologetically worthy of being fly, happy and successful.
Most people call them affirmations, but when you’re fabulous darling you call them what you want. When you “eat” these precious stones you’re bound to exude a presence that can be felt by those around you. There’s no time to dwell on failures, everyday you get a new 24 hours to be better. Go get your blessings, girl!
Say them out loud in a mirror

“I am enough”

“I am intelligent”
